Reassured adds Scottish Widows to life-insurance panel

Insurance broker Reassured has added Scottish Widows to its life-insurance panel.

Reassured said Scottish Widows were chosen following a competitive tender process.

The partnership ensures consumers can continue to access a range of products via some of the largest insurer brands through both its digital and telephony channels.

Since 14 January, Reassured has provided quotes for customers for life and critical-illness cover from Scottish Widows.

Reassured chief executive, Mark Townsend, said: “Scottish Widows is one of the most recognisable brands in financial services and they are a leading provider of life-protection products in the UK market.

“Throughout the tender process, we were impressed by their scale, ambition and focus on consumer outcomes. They have a strong team with whom we look forward to working closely to continue to improve customer choice and value.”

Scottish Widows protection director, Rose St Louis, added: “Reassured has a desire to engage customers in all walks of life, through both advised and guidance telephony channels. Their diverse business model and recent partnership wins align to our aim to protect more of the UK population and close the protection gap.”

Reassured is an FCA-regulated life insurance broker.

It specialises in arranging life insurance for people across the country and has helped protect around 1.5m families to date.
