Quilter adopts VouchedFor’s client survey system to support advisers

Quilter Financial Planning has adopted VouchedFor’s client survey system, Elevation, to support its network of advisers.

The Financial Conduct Authority’s Consumer Duty requires advice firms to collect and act on the relevant data to monitor and evidence good outcomes, with client feedback being a crucial data point.

Elevation uses questions, industry benchmarks and dashboards to help advisers deliver client outcomes, meet Consumer Duty requirements and boost revenue.

The system identifies an average incremental revenue potential of £2,000 per wealth client, derived from referral, intergenerational and cross-sell opportunities.

This figure was sourced from 26,475 clients’ feedback left through Elevation in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Following successful adoption by many of its member firms, Quilter Financial Planning is now rolling out Elevation across its network.

While Elevation feedback is private, advisers can choose to publish the relevant parts on the VouchedFor website, which is used by over one million potential clients each year to find and research advisers.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in Elevation’s journey. Since its launch three years ago, the system now collects client feedback for over 10,000 UK advisers.

James Reiss, chief executive of David James Wealth (part of the Quilter financial-planning network), said the Elevation data is “incredibly helpful” in identifying opportunities, as well as areas where the firm can consistently enhance its service and advice to its target clients.

“We’ve been successful at growing organically, and VouchedFor and Elevation have been key to that,” he added.

Quilter Financial Planning chief distribution officer Stephen Gazard said: “We’re delighted to partner with VouchedFor to provide Elevation to our advisers.

“The system demonstrates our advisers’ excellent work for clients and highlights any opportunities to raise the bar.”

VouchedFor managing director Alex Whitson added: “Our mission is to empower advisers to make a greater impact for their clients.

“We’re thrilled that Quilter Financial Planning has chosen Elevation to support its advisers in delivering exceptional client outcomes at scale.”

VouchedFor was acquired by the Fintel Group in October 2023, and forms part of Fintel IQ.

Fintel IQ is a customisable, connected technology and workflow platform developed through two-way API integrations.
