Investment platform AJ Bell has signed up to Sprint Enterprise Technology’s FINIO data hub in a bid to support advisers’ ability to manage client portfolios.
AJ Bell is the eighth platform to utilise FINIO data hub since its launch just over two years ago.
The partnership will enhance AJ Bell’s data offering, providing advisers with the critical information they need to make informed decisions for clients.
Sprint Enterprise CEO, Robin Bevan, said: “We have worked with AJ Bell for over ten years, so have a deep understanding of their data needs.
“The FINIO data hub will help AJ Bell facilitate new and retire legacy integrations for the flow of increasingly complex data.
“This collaboration strengthens our market position and underscores our commitment to enabling the flow of rich, timely and accurate investment data between systems in the industry.”
AJ Bell product director, Mark Rendle, added: “We recognise that accurate and timely data delivery is key for advisers and their clients, and our partnership with FINIO will help us to continue providing the best service, as well as enhance our competitive position.
“FINIO will also support us in providing more data to more solutions more efficiently, as advisers ask us to integrate with more of their technology stack and support them in growing their businesses effectively.”
FINIO is the data hub of Sprint Enterprise Technology, and the firm seeks to bring about a more open and integrated wealth-management industry by enabling the flow of investment data.
It does this via a centralised investment data hub and through Fastrak, its customised reporting application.
Sprint solutions support a wide breadth of the UK wealth-management industry, including investment platforms, third-party software providers and advisory businesses.
The tech firm has onboarded 15 software systems and six advice firms since launch, and is now managing data representing £70bn of assets under management.
